Yep!!! The superb works “Sleep No More” is going to be performed in Shanghai this December!

This immersive theatre production has been popular in New York for five years, and almost become a new landscape since even popstars were willing to wear those white masks one after another, to enjoy the dream of 1930s.

Punchdrunk Troupe and SMG Live announced together on Jul.13 that “Sleep No More” will perform at the sister hotel of “McKittric” —— “McKinnon”at the beginning of December.

According to “Macbeth” by Shakespeare, but changing background to 1930s Shanghai, the drama will definitely display different style and feature from New York one’s.

You may ask: what’s Immersive Theatre”? People who have experienced will tell you that this is different from common drama because it can bring you to the real dreamland through performance.

The whole building is the acting space, audience can wander around inside. Different stories will happen at the same time, choose one to follow or just stay at the certain room and drink a glass of wine as you wish. 350 audiences will be put into different spaces and begin their discovery. The only request is nospeaking.

There will be 10 story line during the drama and will be circulated 3 times. You can choose different line to follow, but of course you cannot see all for one time.
